NOVEMBER 2010
11/25 International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. Performance in Morón.
The t-shirt says: "Because you are a woman you are not exempt of exercising violence against me because I am woman."

I delivered texts with the next poem:
Because I am a woman some people tell me things at the streets
Because I am a woman I have to censure the clothes that i choose to wear
Because I am a woman some people give me a bad look and stare
Because I am a woman I'm afraid of staying at the corner
Because I am a woman a doctor didn't think that it was inappropriate to cross the line in my body
Because I am a woman I find it difficult to find a job without being exploited
Because I am a woman most of the people think that i like to suck cocks
Because I am a woman I have to take care of not being seen with more than a man
Because I am a woman I have to think if I smile or not, when and to whom
Because I am a woman repeatedly I was denigrated
Because I am a woman I am submitted to some social conventions
Because I am a woman at home they send me to wash the dishes
Because I am a woman they make invisible my lesbian relations
Because I am a woman I get insulted saying that I am anything but a woman
Because you are a woman you are not exempt of excercising violence against me because I am a woman too.

I AM WOMAN, AND I FEEL YOUR VIOLENCE

OCTOBER 2010
"My Costume" Installation made with the clothes that I used in the performance that i made the following day.
There are transsexual women who live their transition at work, and others who must disguise themselves as man to continue their job. Taking advantage of the space given to me to present another work in a festival of art, I did an installation where I put the clothes that I would wear the next day at work: my last day at work pretending to be male.

"Extension of the self-portrait"
Presentation made at the Univerisity (IUNA), work with the grayscale about a photo of a space.
I wanted to take a picture of some place of the University that I like, and instinctively I take a picture of one of the passages that I often cross. Therefore I wondered myself, why do I like more this place than the cafeteria where I use to sit between classes?” Maybe it's because a hallway it is not a place to sit or stay, it is a place to transit, and that's how I feel today: in transition state, man for many, woman for some, experiencing changes in my body. It's for that I consider this work an extension of the self-portrait, because it represents my actual status, and I print it on myself, because – beyond my process as an artist and as a woman – I also know that everybody cross infinite hallways that promise take us to those places where we can sit and stay.
The presentation was a performance where I used my body. The works were printed on my shirt with diamond shape. I gave to the participants frames of the photo with a heart shape, that combined to the works they transform in arrows that indicated a way up or down.
JUNE 2010
"Human Carpet"
"You can see us as an obstacle (and avoid us)
...or you can see us as a way to develop your creativity.
(and transit from end to end this human carpet in the way that best represents your sense of spontaneity)"

Performance made at the entrance of the IUNA. (15 minutes)
Thanks to everyone who provided me the bodies and to who share the energy, and made possible a little idea that i had while i was travelling on the bus.
